total health

Cultivate total health and wellness at Anahata Yoga Center with a combined practice of yoga and massage therapy. We believe that a regular practice of yoga and massage can have lasting physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual effects on your well-being. This belief is consistent with our philosophy about the body as a storehouse of your lifestyle and experiences.

  • Relaxes and softens muscles to help them recover from injury or overuse
  • Increases joint flexibility and range of motion, especially for people with arthritis or other inflammatory diseases

She has studied Active Isolated Stretching with Karl Houck in Washington, D.C., and she has competed advanced training in manual therapy for fibromyalgia with Madeline Dusky in Ohio. Kath is also skilled in Geothermotherapy, a technique that uses heated and chilled stones to bring balance and restoration to body and mind. Before training as a massage therapist Kath was a Graphic Designer in Cleveland, Ohio and Los Angeles, California. She has spent the last 10 years working as an eductional assistant in the WJCC school district. She holds a second degree brown belt in Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate and Kobudo.
